I thought teaching my ten-year-old fractions, decimals and percents would be easy. It ended with her crying that she was dumb, me frustrated, and her still not getting it.

She would rather play than study — so I stopped arguing and built her a small app instead. Ten minutes a day, ten days, and she understood it.

There are three now. She opens them on her own, which still surprises me.
